AHLC supplies stagehands and event production labor to Fargo, Moorhead, West Fargo, and Grand Forks. We're a Minneapolis company — the Red River Valley is a three-and-a-half hour run up I-94, and we make it regularly for shows that need a crew somebody has already vetted.
We are not a Fargo staffing agency and we won't pretend to be one. We travel our own roster in. The hands who walk into your load in are people off the same list that crews US Bank Stadium and Xcel Energy Center — not names assembled the week of the show.
Why that's the whole pitch. In a secondary market, the default is a pickup crew: a list built locally, most of whom have never worked together, some of whom have never worked your kind of show. You find out how it went at 7am on load in. An AHLC crew has run a few hundred load ins as a unit. The crew chief already knows what the other eleven people are good at.

Lead time and travel
Fargo and Moorhead are a same-day drive at roughly three and a half hours; Grand Forks is closer to five and generally means an overnight. Either way, travel and lodging are quoted up front and built into the number you approve — we don't surprise anyone on an invoice.
In the Twin Cities we can crew an emergency in 24 hours. Up here, give us about a week when you can. We're moving people and vehicles, not just filling a schedule. That said — if a show falls apart and you need hands in the Valley tomorrow, call anyway. Sometimes we can.
