Production crews in northern Iowa.South on 35 and 218. Same roster, same standard.
AHLC supplies stagehands and event production labor into northern Iowa — Mason City, Clear Lake, Charles City, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, and Dubuque. We're a Minneapolis company and we travel our own crew down.
We'll be straight about this one: northern Iowa is the outer edge of our footprint. Mason City and Clear Lake are a comfortable two-and-a-half hours; Cedar Rapids and Dubuque are a four-hour-plus run and usually an overnight. We take that work when the show justifies moving people that far — and we'll tell you when it doesn't.
Where we're worth the drive. Big short-burst headcounts. A grandstand build, a multi-day fair run, a convention general session, an arena date that needs thirty hands for a day and a half. Raising that many qualified people at once is exactly the problem a 200-person roster solves.

These are the buildings this market's production calendar runs through. We're not claiming a résumé in every one — we're telling you which rooms a call here means. If your show is in one of them, ask and we'll tell you straight what we can put in it.

Lead time and travel
Mason City, Clear Lake, and Charles City are same-day drives at roughly two and a half hours. Waterloo and Cedar Falls run three and a half. Cedar Rapids and Dubuque are four hours or more and almost always mean an overnight. Travel and lodging are quoted up front and built into the number you approve.
Because we're moving people this far, lead time matters more here than anywhere else in our footprint. A week minimum where you can manage it; two is better on a large call. Short-notice Iowa work is the hardest thing we're asked to do, and we'd rather decline than send a crew we had to scramble.
